Trustees

C-Salt is governed by a board of independent Trustees, who have extensive leisure, human resource and local authority experience at a senior level.

The Trustees have appointed a CEO to oversee the day to day management and operational issues on behalf of the Trustees.

David Lunn OBE LLB – Chief Executive
David, a lawyer by profession, enjoyed a high profile and successful career in Local Government, 14 years as a Director (including a spell as Director of Leisure) and then 11 years as Chief Executive of a Unitary Authority. His experience includes Regional and National Bodies, notably 6 years as a Board Member of the English Tourist Board. Since retiring he has continued to deploy his skills and experience, advising Local Authorities, as a Non Executive Director in the NHS, and as a Trustee of several Charities helping young people.

David Scott – Trustee
David Scott is Managing Director of Vision Support Trading Ltd (VST), the trading subsidiary of Vision Support, a charity supporting the needs of the visually impaired.David has been heavily involved in leisure trusts since joining Wigan Council in 2001 where he project managed the creation of Wigan Leisure & Culture Trust, then the largest social enterprise of its kind in the UK, before becoming Chief Executive of Wythenshawe Forum Trust, another leisure trust between 2004 and 2007.

He is currently Chair of Cheshire & Warrington Social Enterprise Partnership, and a board member of Social Enterprise North West. He was a Board Member of High Peak Community Housing for four years and is currently a Trustee of the Northwich based charity Deafness Support Network.

Peter Spooner – Trustee
Peter who lives in Ascot is a Chartered Surveyor with over 40 year experience in the London and national property market. He is a former Borough Councillor and served in the Cabinet of a Unitary Authority having responsibility for the Councils property assets and infrastructure renewal. He is Chairman of the Ascot Fire Brigade Trust and a keen sports enthusiast.
